In response to the EU carbon tariff policy, Shengqiang Steel cooperated with a well-known German new energy vehicle brand to develop carbon neutral certified 6000 series aluminum alloy plates. By optimizing the electrolytic aluminum process and 100% green electricity production, the carbon footprint of the product's entire life cycle is reduced by 42%, helping customers reduce the weight of their vehicles by 30%. The first order of 500 tons has been used in battery tray manufacturing, and it is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 12,000 tons per year.
